The Black Phoenix Pub

The Juniper Berry

A traditional English pub, the Juniper Berry overlooks the new West Quay shopping centre and is located within the historic Old Walls of the city, where Jane Austen once lived. It was previously known as the Castle Tavern until 1993, which was changed to The Juniper Berry in April 2011. Today, the pub offers an impressive selection of real ales, ciders, spirits and wines, while you can also enjoy a game of snooker.
