Transport links in Cambridge
A stroll through Cambridge will reveal how many locals prefer to get around on their bikes, with the local council also encouraging walking and park and ride services. A punt down the river may not be convenient for a daily commute, but thankfully the city has a train station close to the heart of town.
The M11 also begins close to the city, enabling you to drive south to Bishop’s Stortford in just over half an hour. London is around an hour and 15 minutes away in good traffic, while there are trains to the capital which take less than 55 minutes.
