New Homes in Hull

With the recent UK City of Culture award under its belt, it’s no surprise more and more people are looking for new homes in Hull.

This Yorkshire city stands watch over the River Humber, and plays home to huge retail areas, malls, shopping centres and excellent school choices. Alongside this you have famous rugby clubs, a premiership football team, an elite league ice hockey club and an array of top-flight sports teams.

There’s also access to major road networks. The M62 is a rapid route from east to west, while the Humber Bridge allows Humberside Airport to be reached in about half an hour. Additionally, Hull Paragon Interchange is a giant terminus for both rail and bus services, with connections to most of the UK.

  • Visitors to Hull will notice its telephone boxes are all white rather than the red. This is because Hull is the only place in Britain to have its own independent telephone network company
  • The University of Hull has some 20,000 students with notable alumni including John Prescott, and poet Philip Larkin
