Liverpool is equally accessible from Pemberton. Without traffic, a car journey takes 35 minutes via the M58. Train links to Liverpool Central are convenient, with regular connections lasting 50 minutes with one change at Kirby.

The nearest airports are Liverpool John Lennon and Manchester Airport, which serve destinations internationally.
