Arnside and Silverdale have plenty of sites to take in, including Holme Park Fell, The Pepperpot and Jack Scout, which is a great spot to view the Arnside Bore. Nearby in Morecambe, the beachfront is a great place to relax on a summer’s day.
Nearby in Lancaster, there are lots of cultural and historical sites to enjoy. Lancaster City Museum is found in the former town hall, and Lancaster Castle is an exceptional landmarks.
For golfers, Silverdale Golf Club is an 18 hole course with views across Morecambe Bay and the Cumbrian Fells.

Silverdale has its own railway station on the Furness Line operated by Northern Rail. Barrow in Furness can be reached in 50 minutes by train, while a rail journey to Lancaster takes just 15 minutes.
The M6 is just a few miles east of Silverdale - providing an easy route north and south. Manchester is an hour and 30 minutes away by car, and a journey to Birmingham takes two hours and 30 minutes. Leeds is an hour and 20 minutes along the M6, M61 and M62. Heading north, Carlisle is an hour and 10 minutes away and Glasgow is two hours and 30 minutes straight up the M6 and M74.
Silverside’s closest airport is Blackpool Airport, 52 minutes away. Manchester Airport is also within easy reach being an hour and 14 minutes away, offering both long and short haul flights across the globe.
