Manchester is within easy reach of Pemberton, just 35 minutes away by car via the M62. Trains from Pemberton to Manchester Piccadilly take 45 minutes, running via Wigan Wallgate and Wigan North Western. Two changes are required, with a short five minute walk between the connecting stations.

Liverpool is equally accessible from Pemberton. Without traffic, a car journey takes 35 minutes via the M58. Train links to Liverpool Central are convenient, with regular connections lasting 50 minutes with one change at Kirby.

The nearest airports are Liverpool John Lennon and Manchester Airport, which serve destinations internationally.

Haigh Hall Country Park, Fairy Glen and Worthington Lakes offer a slice of beautiful countryside and relaxing walks within easy reach of Pemberton.
