Things to see and do

The village has several local facilities including shops and a parish church, and there are several events and festivals held throughout the year; both here and in the surrounding areas.

Bradford, the curry capital of England, is just nine miles away. Here you can eat a variety of Asian cuisine at one of the city’s many restaurants, and visit attractions such as the impressive cathedral, City Park with its 100 fountains, laser lights and water effects and Little Germany to uncover Victorian Bradford. As the first UNESCO City of Film, you can discover the city’s great filming destinations, or head onto the moors surrounding Bradford.

The spa town of Ilkley is within easy reach of Menston. Found in the Wharfe Valley, the town features great restaurants, shops and tearooms, alongside lovely countryside.

From Leeds you can get connections to destinations across the UK, including London in two hours and 16 minutes, Manchester in 49 minutes and Liverpool in one hour and 24 minutes.
