Warwickshire benefits from a strong location within the West Midlands and has the transport links to match it. There are plenty of bus and train routes across the county, while the council also promotes more environmentally friendly means of travel through things like car share schemes and park and ride services.
Trains from Royal Leamington Spa to Birmingham, for example, take 40 minutes, while it’s double that to London. Travelling times to both those places are similar from nearby Warwick, which is a little closer to the M40 motorway, which runs through the county between those to major cities. The M6 also passes through the north of Warwickshire and the M1 just the other side of the eastern border.
