Time out in lovely surroundings can be found at Somerset Gardens at Hestercombe, a short drive away in Taunton. The award-winning visitors area offers options for a little light refreshment, while at the heart of the gardens sits the watermill complex, featuring the historic use of renewable energy within the original working mill machinery.
The impressive Cheddar Gorge and Caves can be reached in just over half an hour by road. The dramatic cliffs tower above the surrounding landscape at an incredible 450ft and are a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
