Superior design

Why settle for second-hand when there is so much care and attention that goes into new.

We've introduced a lot of considerate methods to ensure your new home is both environmentally and economically friendly. These considerations include being built with energy efficient boilers and low energy lighting.

However you imagine your perfect home and location, you'll find at Preston Grange we've thought of both. The homes are carefully designed and meticulously finished with open-plan layouts offering flexible living spaces. The location of the homes will sit amongst beautifully landscaped gardens that incorporate wildflower and bee-friendly planting.

Impressive, spacious family homes, set in the country idyll yet close to Canterbury without the price tag.

The build so far

Construction work of our 70 private homes started last August.

Build work is progressing well with the Show Home and Marketing Suite open and available to view by appointment. Already enticing street scenes are starting to take shape with the first residents moving into their new homes.

There will be a mixture of three, four and five-bedroom homes designed to reflect the local vernacular of the village with a blend of brick, render, tile and weatherboard features incorporated to create beautiful street scenes.

The buying process

Buying a home follows a set process. Here’s a quick overview, but don’t worry if it seems complicated – our team will be happy to answer any questions you have.

View our detailed guide for more information on the process

Find a solicitor

You’ll need a solicitor that specialises in conveyance to look after all the paperwork. We can put you in touch with one if needs be.

Arrange your mortgage

There are plenty of options to consider when it comes to a mortgage. Once you’ve done your research (or spoken to a mortgage adviser – again, we can put you in touch if you like), you should seek an agreement in principle.

Get a valuation and survey

Your mortgage lender will want confirmation the home is worth what you’re paying for it. They’ll organise the valuation for you – this will involve a fee.

Complete legal work

Your solicitor will look after this for you. It’s all about formally transferring ownership from us to you, and checking there are no legal obstacles in the way.

Exchange contracts

Once the legal work is complete, your solicitor will exchange contracts with us. This is when you pay your deposit and commit to the deal taking place.

Complete and move in

On the date of completion, you become the legal owner of your new home. Collect the keys and make yourself comfy!
