Another one of those is when you take up our Part Exchange offer. With this, your move could go through will the minimum of stress and hassle, while you could also save thousands on estate agent fees too.

Things to see and do in Bedfordshire

If you love spending your time outdoors, Bedfordshire has a great selection of natural environments for you to explore. This includes the beautiful Priory Country Park with its pretty lakes and Rushmere Country Park, where you’ll find play areas, sculptures and trails spread out over 400 acres. Then there’s the Barton Hills, giving you another place to go for tranquil walks which serve up great views across the local area.

Bedford Museum is a great place to visit to learn more about the region’s heritage, while the Higgins Art Gallery and Museum, Woburn Abbey and Stockwood Discovery Centre are other cultural draws you shouldn’t miss. From spots like the National Trust’s Ashridge Estate and Wrest Park to family days out at the Subtropical Swimming Paradise and Ride Leisure water parks or Woodside Animal Farm, there’s lots to see and do across Bedfordshire.

Education

The county has a good supply of strong schools for when it’s time for your kids to learn a thing or two in the classroom. Greenleas School in Leighton Buzzard, Denbigh Primary in Luton and Bedford’s Priory Primary have all been graded as outstanding by Ofsted. Brooklands Middle School and Cedars Upper School are both good schools, while St Thomas More Catholic School in Bedford is outstanding. The same goes for Denbigh High School and Challney’s high schools for girls and boys.

Transport links in Bedfordshire

If being close to London is important to you, the south of Bedfordshire is the place for you. You can catch a train to the capital’s Euston station in just half an hour from towns such as Leighton Buzzard, perfect for the morning commute. Luton also has excellent rail links both for getting to the capital and other parts of the county and beyond, while the town also has an international airport for trips abroad. If you have a car, the M1 motorway passes through Bedfordshire and is likely to be of use.
