Cradley Heath Library and Cradley Heath Baptist church are both impressive buildings, while Haden Hill Park is a great destination for a family day out. With Victorian landscaped gardens, a Victorian Mansion and Tudor Hall, it also has a children’s play area, bowling greens and ornamental lakes.

Located within the Black Country, Birmingham can be reached within 30 minutes by train and car from Cradley Heath.  

Along with great shopping, the city has a number of attractions which provide great opportunities for weekend days out, whatever your age.

Cadbury World, offers a chocolaty experience with a variety of different zones to visit, such as the Aztec Jungle, the Purple Planet and the Demonstration Area.

Further highlights include Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter and the Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum. A wide selection of restaurants and bars offer plenty of options for relaxation at the end of the day.


The area has several primary and secondary schools giving families plenty of choice.  The University of Birmingham located here offers students a great city in which to live and study.

The area’s central location affords it strong transport links whether you’re travelling by rail, road or air.

Cradley Heath railway station is located on the Birmingham to Worcester via Kidderminster Line. The majority of trains are provided by London Midland with connections to surrounding areas and the rest of the country. Birmingham can be reached in 25 minutes, Coventry in an hour and 7 minutes and London in two hours and 12 minutes.

If you’re arriving by car, Cradley Heath can be easily accessed from the M5, along with the A458 and A4036.

The nearest airport to the town is Birmingham Airport which offers domestic and international flights to destinations across the globe.
