How First Homes Fund works
Thanks to First Homes Fund, first-time buyers in Scotland could receive a loan of up to £10,000 towards their home. This loan can be repaid on the sale of your home, or you can increase your share in your home while you own it.
So you could buy your first home that’s worth up to £300,000 with a 5% deposit and a minimum 25% mortgage.

Eligibility criteria
You must be a first-time buyer if you’re buying on your own. If you’re buying with someone else, at least one applicant has to be a first-time buyer.
The property purchased using First Homes Fund must be your only/main residence in Scotland.
You need to have a capital repayment mortgage of at least 25% of the purchase price.
