Evenings and weekends

Unique history
Tenbury had 'Wells' added to its name in the mid-19th century after its mineral water wells, prompting the Pump Rooms to be built. This unique listed building forms a distinctive part of the town's history.

Gastronmic delights
Ten miles away you'll find the pretty town of Ludlow, renowned for its range of great gastropubs and fine dining restaurants.  The Clive is recommended as the best place to eat in Ludlow and well worth a visit.

Sport and leisure
Tenbury Wells enjoys two golf clubs, sports club, swimming pool and gym. The River Teme provides the perfect spot to pitch up and enjoy an afternoon's fishing. If you enjoy a spot of rambling, take in the wonderful countryside at the Welsh Marches or visit the beautiful Wyre Forest, just 12 miles away.

Live the life

Tenbury Wells is located on the beautiful Worcestershire/Shropshire border just 10 miles from the popular towns of Ludlow and Leominster.  The picturesque countryside is perfect for a leisurely stroll in the country and your children will love exploring Ludlow Castle and learning about its interesting history.

There are plenty of great places to purchase locally sourced produce - the town's cider is made from hops and apples grown in the area and well worth a taste!

The buying process

Buying a home follows a set process. Here’s a quick overview, but don’t worry if it seems complicated – our team will be happy to answer any questions you have.

View our detailed guide for more information on the process

Find a solicitor

You’ll need a solicitor that specialises in conveyance to look after all the paperwork. We can put you in touch with one if needs be.

Arrange your mortgage

There are plenty of options to consider when it comes to a mortgage. Once you’ve done your research (or spoken to a mortgage adviser – again, we can put you in touch if you like), you should seek an agreement in principle.

Get a valuation and survey

Your mortgage lender will want confirmation the home is worth what you’re paying for it. They’ll organise the valuation for you – this will involve a fee.

Complete legal work

Your solicitor will look after this for you. It’s all about formally transferring ownership from us to you, and checking there are no legal obstacles in the way.

Exchange contracts

Once the legal work is complete, your solicitor will exchange contracts with us. This is when you pay your deposit and commit to the deal taking place.

Complete and move in

On the date of completion, you become the legal owner of your new home. Collect the keys and make yourself comfy!
