Binley began life as a small mining village. The colliery first started producing coal in 1911 and echoes of the town’s past can be experienced along Willenhall Lane and St James Lane, where pit workers cottages still stand. 

Binley’s location provides great access to historic Coventry. The city has several attractions such as Coventry Cathedral which hosts events, concerts and exhibitions throughout the year. 

Time out can be enjoyed at Coventry Canal Basin where old warehouses have been transformed into art spaces and craft shops. Picturesque walks trails and picnics can be enjoyed while watching the boats and taking in the area’s history.

Fans of the beautiful game can enjoy the sport at Coventry City Football Club. With an impressive 30,000-seater stadium, it’s located just over 3 miles from Binley.
