Birmingham is also just 20 minutes away by road. Family fun can be enjoyed at The National Sea Life Centre, the Birmingham Science Museum and the Giant Screen. You’ll also find a range of food on offer, from Michelin starred restaurant to the world famous Balti Triangle. In the evening you’ll find a wide selection of bars, venues and clubs.
The village falls in the catchment area of many good schools, and for those wishing to go on to higher education, the Universities of Birmingham and Coventry both offer a series of undergraduate and post graduate degrees.
You won’t have to look far for an airport, with Birmingham Airport just a seven minute drive from Meriden.
The M6 and M42 are just five minutes away giving motorists’ easy access into the village, while Birmingham International Railway Station is less than 10 minutes away from the village. London can be reached in just one hour and 12 minutes, Manchester in one hour and 50 minutes and Liverpool in two hours and 6 minutes.
