Wivenhoe’s rural location is a peaceful distance from major motorways, with Junction 8 of the M11, Birchanger Green Interchange, just under an hour away by car. The A12 and A120 connect Colchester with the neighbouring cities of Chelmsford and Ipswich. The A133 runs east to the coastal town of Clacton-on-Sea.

Rail
