Cheltenham also benefits from strong road links, being next to the M5 motorway between Bristol and Birmingham. Its junction with the A417 to Swindon and the A40 runs from across the M5 through Cheltenham towards Oxford and London.
The closest airport to Cheltenham is Birmingham International which is approximately an hour away. A number of options for both domestic and international flights operate from here.
