Days out

There's plenty to keep you busy in the local area.  Visit the romantic ruins of Whittington Castle, explore acres of parkland at Llanymynech Rocks Nature Reserve or hire a narrowboat at Llangollen and enjoy a relaxing ride along the pretty canals.  And if you enjoy walking and hiking, you'll be wowed by the spectacular landscape of Snowdonia National Park and the Peak District.

Live the life

Montgomery Place is conveniently located within walking distance to the town centre and near to two good performing schools - The Marches Academy and Oswestry School.  Just a five minute drive away is the A5 and A55 providing routes into the historic town of Shrewsbury, Wrexham and Chester.  And if you're looking to embrace the wonderful countryside, visit the beautiful Lake Vyrnwy and Snowdonia National Park.

The buying process

Buying a home follows a set process. Here’s a quick overview, but don’t worry if it seems complicated – our team will be happy to answer any questions you have.

View our detailed guide for more information on the process

Find a solicitor

You’ll need a solicitor that specialises in conveyance to look after all the paperwork. We can put you in touch with one if needs be.

Arrange your mortgage

There are plenty of options to consider when it comes to a mortgage. Once you’ve done your research (or spoken to a mortgage adviser – again, we can put you in touch if you like), you should seek an agreement in principle.

Get a valuation and survey

Your mortgage lender will want confirmation the home is worth what you’re paying for it. They’ll organise the valuation for you – this will involve a fee.

Complete legal work

Your solicitor will look after this for you. It’s all about formally transferring ownership from us to you, and checking there are no legal obstacles in the way.

Exchange contracts

Once the legal work is complete, your solicitor will exchange contracts with us. This is when you pay your deposit and commit to the deal taking place.

Complete and move in

On the date of completion, you become the legal owner of your new home. Collect the keys and make yourself comfy!
