From high street favourites at the Regent Arcade and Beechwood Shopping Centre to chic independent stores in the Montpellier and Suffolks area, there’s no shortage of options. The Brewery, meanwhile, is a leisure complex offering a cinema, selection of restaurants and fitness centre.

There’s plenty of culture here too. Nature in Art is the world’s first museum dedicated to fine, decorative and applied art inspired by nature, while the Wilson-Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum displays a range of temporary and permanent exhibitions. Here you can see an important collection of Dutch 17th and 19th century paintings, rare oriental porcelain and learn about Cheltenham’s social history.
