Getting to Hartlepool

Hartlepool is well served by several transport links, both road and rail. Residents of the town use one of the two local railway stations, Hartlepool or Seaton Carew. Both on the same line, services go to Newcastle (50 minutes), Sunderland (25 minutes), and Middlesbrough (just over half an hour). You can reach York in just over an hour with a change at Northallerton and London in just over three hours with a direct service into Kings Cross.

The town is connected by road to the A19 which will see you reach both Durham or Sunderland in 40 minutes, and York in under two hours.

When the time comes to enjoy a well-earned holiday, Durham Tees Valley and Newcastle airports are both within driving distance.
