Clitheroe Castle is a historic early medieval fortress in the heart of town. A must-see in the area, you can learn more about the castle at the on-site museum. Heading out of the town centre, crossing the Brungerley Bridge takes you over the River Ribble and into the sweeping countryside this area is famous for.
