Primary schools in Shropshire

It’s outstanding according to Ofsted, while the nearby Woodfield Infant School and Telford’s St George’s CofE are both in the education board’s top band too. 

Secondary schools in Shropshire

The same goes for Shrewsbury’s Priory School, a former girls’ grammar which is now a mixed secondary with academy status, while Thomas Telford School is in the heart of Telford and another of the county’s top options. 

Transport links in Shropshire

Shropshire has a good selection of bus and rail routes you can use to get around, with major places like Shrewsbury and Telford having their own train stations. Services between the two towns take just 20 minutes, while the M54 motorway passes through the latter on its way east towards large West Midlands cities like Wolverhampton and Birmingham. There are plenty of A roads which link different parts of the county, while certain areas offer excellent access to international airports in Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham.
