The build so far

The development of Newton Park began in 2010, with the first families moving in early in 2011. We've now completed the first part of this exciting community and are continuing to build even more quality new homes here.

Future plans at Newton Park include developing the former airfield. This new area could include more family homes, local shops and a primary school.

The buying process

Buying a home follows a set process. Here’s a quick overview, but don’t worry if it seems complicated – our team will be happy to answer any questions you have.

View our detailed guide for more information on the process

Find a solicitor

You’ll need a solicitor that specialises in conveyance to look after all the paperwork. We can put you in touch with one if needs be.

Arrange your mortgage

There are plenty of options to consider when it comes to a mortgage. Once you’ve done your research (or spoken to a mortgage adviser – again, we can put you in touch if you like), you should seek an agreement in principle.

Get a valuation and survey

Your mortgage lender will want confirmation the home is worth what you’re paying for it. They’ll organise the valuation for you – this will involve a fee.

Complete legal work

You solicitor will look after this for you. It’s all about formally transferring ownership from us to you, and checking there are no legal obstacles in the way.

Exchange contracts

Once the legal work is complete, your solicitor will exchange contracts with us. This is when you pay your deposit and commit to the deal taking place.

Complete and move in

On the date of completion, you become the legal owner of your new home. Collect the keys and make yourself comfy!
