Created on the site of a former ironstone quarry close to Wellingborough, Irchester Country Park covers 83 hectares of woodland and has a host of different trails. Higham Ferrers Pits is a lovely nature reserve with large areas of scrub and grassland.

Take a leisurely few hours out to soak up the history at the Castle and the lovely views throughout the beautiful gardens at Castle Fields, overlooking the River Nene. At night the town comes alive with lots of bars and clubs.
