Superior design

The Chestnuts instantly impresses with its green, open spaces and block paved roads which give the development the feeling of a traditional Leicestershire village. The homes here have been inspired by this local influence, incorporating Charnwood granite into some of the buildings and chimneys on some house styles.

Planting around the edge of the development gives The Chestnuts an established village feel. This is enhanced by newly planted trees that give a welcoming feel as you drive into the development.

Essentials on your doorstep

The Chestnuts is less than five minutes drive from the centre of Syston.

Busy Melton Road, High Street and Town Square offer everything you’ll need from a small town centre, with excellent local food producers, shops, the charming Central Park and weekly markets. Nearby schools and acres of Leicestershire countryside make this rural spot ideal for your family.

The build so far

The Chestnuts is currently in its second phase of development, having originally been granted planning permission in 2001. In total we’re building 233 homes at The Chestnuts. We expect to be on the site for another three to four years, which means that there is still time to make this your new home.
