Superior design

Every care has been taken in selecting the materials to be used in construction at Abbey Mews. This means that your new home will fit into Newport's landscape. Some of the houses on the site will be split level, being designed specifically to incorporate the changing landscape and will provide versatile family living.

The site boarders a conservation area and great effort has been taken to protect the wildlife. For example, we have erected a badger fence and created the badgers an artificial sett while build is in progress. We are also creating an attractive river environment from what was once a culvert, this will provide new habitat once complete.

Essentials on your doorstep

Due to its central location in Newport residents of Abbey Mews can enjoy a host of convenient amenities. There’s a selection of good schools and nurseries in the area as well as an abundance of shops and restaurants. Being in the centre, Abbey Mews residents will also benefit from great transport links including regular bus services.

The build so far

Abbey Mews is now in its final build stages with just two available plots remaining.

The buying process

Buying a home follows a set process. Here’s a quick overview, but don’t worry if it seems complicated – our team will be happy to answer any questions you have.

View our detailed guide for more information on the process

Find a solicitor

You’ll need a solicitor that specialises in conveyance to look after all the paperwork. We can put you in touch with one if needs be.

Arrange your mortgage

There are plenty of options to consider when it comes to a mortgage. Once you’ve done your research (or spoken to a mortgage adviser – again, we can put you in touch if you like), you should seek an agreement in principle.

Get a valuation and survey

Your mortgage lender will want confirmation the home is worth what you’re paying for it. They’ll organise the valuation for you – this will involve a fee.

Complete legal work

You solicitor will look after this for you. It’s all about formally transferring ownership from us to you, and checking there are no legal obstacles in the way.

Exchange contracts

Once the legal work is complete, your solicitor will exchange contracts with us. This is when you pay your deposit and commit to the deal taking place.

Complete and move in

On the date of completion, you become the legal owner of your new home. Collect the keys and make yourself comfy!
