Superior design

At David Wilson Homes we don't build houses, we build homes. Homes that are designed for growing families and modern lifestyles, executives and busy couples. At Marston Park, where you're on the edge of a lovely village yet within walking distance of amazingly beautiful country walks, we've taken this setting into consideration. We've built homes that fit well with the surroundings, yet are practical and reflect high specification details throughout.

Essentials on your doorstep

Marston Moretaine is served by several shops, a couple of pubs, a fish and chips shop, a Co-Op and doctors surgery, post office as well as a sports club. As the development is just on the edge of the village, all the essentials are literally on your doorstep.

The build so far

From the first spade of soil that was turned in this lovely village, it became clear that Marston Park would form an integral part of this established community. As the street scapes evolve and the build progresses, the development takes on a character of its own whilst retaining the close links with the adjacent area. Phase 2 has now been released.

With its children’s activity centre, nature trails, boating lake, pathways and restaurant, it’s an idyllic way to spend a family afternoon. The lovely Marston Moretaine is as picturesque as it is friendly, with restaurants, shops, pubs and sports clubs putting a spring in the village’s step.

Or just 4.5 miles to the west, link to the M1 for London or Birmingham. The buying process

Buying a home follows a set process. Here’s a quick overview, but don’t worry if it seems complicated – our team will be happy to answer any questions you have.

View our detailed guide for more information on the process

Find a solicitor

You’ll need a solicitor that specialises in conveyance to look after all the paperwork. We can put you in touch with one if needs be.

Arrange your mortgage

There are plenty of options to consider when it comes to a mortgage. Once you’ve done your research (or spoken to a mortgage adviser – again, we can put you in touch if you like), you should seek an agreement in principle.

Get a valuation and survey

Your mortgage lender will want confirmation the home is worth what you’re paying for it. They’ll organise the valuation for you – this will involve a fee.

Complete legal work

You solicitor will look after this for you. It’s all about formally transferring ownership from us to you, and checking there are no legal obstacles in the way.

Exchange contracts

Once the legal work is complete, your solicitor will exchange contracts with us. This is when you pay your deposit and commit to the deal taking place.

Complete and move in

On the date of completion, you become the legal owner of your new home. Collect the keys and make yourself comfy!
